01 Overview & Purpose

This Privacy Policy explains how PitWall: F1 Timing & Telemetry ("PitWall", "we", "us", or "our") treats data across our Android mobile application and WebAssembly (WASM) web application accessible at f1.dirzaaulia.com.

We built PitWall to give motorsport fans, sim racers, and telemetry enthusiasts instant, ultra-responsive access to live sector times, speed traps, tire stints, and session replays. We respect your privacy and believe telemetry tools should not harvest personal information.

02 Information We Collect

PitWall does not require account registration, login credentials, or user profiles. We do not collect, store, sell, or monetize personal identifiable information (PII).

• No Personal Identity: We never ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or government identification.
• No Financial Data: The application does not process payments or collect payment card information.
• No Precise Geolocation: We do not track or access your device's GPS or background location coordinates.
• Anonymous Server Logs: Standard hosting network logs (such as request IP addresses, browser user agent, and timestamp) may be automatically processed by hosting infrastructure (Firebase / Google Cloud) solely for edge DDoS protection, network routing, and server reliability. These logs are not combined with any personal profile.

03 Telemetry & Timing Data

All race timing, lap intervals, sector speed comparisons, pit stop durations, driver standings, and session schedule calendars shown in PitWall are retrieved from public open-source telemetry and timing APIs (such as Jolpica / Ergast F1 API, OpenF1, and public motorsport feeds).

No user data, device telemetry, or personal usage statistics are transmitted to these timing servers during API queries.

04 Third-Party Media & Assets

To provide an immersive visual experience, PitWall displays static publicly available race assets through public content delivery networks (CDNs):

• Country Flag Assets: Rendered via public CDN (FlagCDN) for Grand Prix host nations and driver nationalities.
• Driver & Circuit Media: Public circuit track layout schematics and driver portraits delivered from public racing media CDNs.

These third-party CDNs receive only standard anonymous HTTP GET requests to deliver static image files.

05 Local Device Storage

PitWall may store user preferences locally on your device:

• Android: Android Jetpack DataStore / SharedPreferences is used strictly to remember your preferred season filter, telemetry display options, and UI settings.
• Web (WASM): Standard browser localStorage or sessionStorage is used strictly for storing client-side session state and viewer settings.

This preference data never leaves your device and is never uploaded to any remote server.

06 Children's Privacy

PitWall does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in the European Union). Because no personal information is collected at any time, PitWall is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements regarding minors.

07 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app enhancements or statutory requirements. Any changes will be posted immediately on this page with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of the policy.
